This has truly been my favorite TikTok rabbit hole to go down in a long time. I got from water, to watermelon chicken salad very quickly and it was the viewing experience of a lifetime. As an NYU alumni who lived in terrible NYU dorms, I was very curious how quarantine life would be, and TikTok has given me a window into this world that I never want to leave.
Long story short, any incoming students to NYU not from the tri-state area are required to quarantine for 14 days. The students were promised three complimentary boxed meals and a snack per day, and their website says “We are committed to serving you nutritious meals during this quarantine period.”
