Dena and Melissa start the show talking about Dena’s new viral TikTok poking fun at a typical New Yorkers’ FYPs. She’s gotten comments and likes from TikTok royalty like @tiktok, @uncovermore, @scheckeats, @serenakerrigan, and @theviplist. It’s a pretty big deal for us.

We move into song trends, featuring a primer video from @emwolfee. They explain the “Snowball Effect” on TikTok, how one idea can get bigger and bigger and take on a whole new meaning. She first posted a video about Kanye’s Runaway and it turned into several different viral trends. TikTok is one of the few platforms that offers this kind of collaboration.

We talk about “Super Rich Kids” by Frank Ocean and the trend of filming yourself when you wake up for a series of days. Some people wear the same pajamas everyday, some don’t.
